Interior Designer - Intermediate

Summary

The Interior Designer provides luxury residential design services to walk-in clientele within an RH Gallery, delivering brand-appropriate presentations and executing small-scale projects. Working alongside Lead Designers and Gallery Leadership, the role owns client interactions from consultation through delivery and supports larger projects as needed. The position requires strong design skills, presentation ability, and a results-oriented approach to building an interior design business within the gallery setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-gallery interior design services and a luxury client experience
• Create and execute RH design presentations, space plans, and product selections
• Manage small-scale design projects and support large-scale projects with the Interior Design team
• Own all phases of the client experience from consultation to delivery and site visits
• Collaborate with Lead Designers and Gallery leadership to meet fiscal and quality goals
• Support visual standards on the gallery floor and maintain professional representation of the brand

Requirements

• 2+ years of design experience in a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Art, Architecture, Interior Design or similar degree preferred and a professional portfolio required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other space planning/rendering programs preferred
• Hands-on interior installation and strong hand rendering/sketching skills preferred
• Strategic, highly organized, results-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication
• Comfortable with Mac OS, iOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google applications; licensed to drive and ability to travel locally or out of state preferred
