Responsibilities
- Create original residential interior designs using the company design point of view
- Determine design objectives considering architecture environment and client lifestyle
- Use floor plans sketches and visual presentations to illustrate design concepts
- Meet with clients in gallery and in home and manage client interactions
- Lead multiple design projects of various sizes and ensure fiscal goals are met
- Oversee all phases of the client experience from initial contact through delivery
- Teach and support daily client interactions and mentor gallery staff
Requirements
- 5+ years design experience within a design firm or high end furniture or luxury retail preferred
- Art Architecture or Interior Design degree preferred and professional portfolio required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Adobe Creative Suite and related space planning and rendering programs
- Hands on interior installation experience and strong hand rendering sketching skills preferred
- Results driven with ability to motivate influence and inspire a team and leadership or business experience preferred
- Successful project management experience preferred
- Ability to travel locally or out of state and licensed to drive preferred
