Job Description

Summary

The Supply Chain Intern will support the Director, Planning and Sr. Manager, Planning by assisting in Distribution Planning for product categories across all geographies of the Fendi America’s retail and Ecommerce network. This role involves building relationships with key partners such as the Merchandising Department, the Finance Department, and the Logistics Team.

Responsibilities
  • Support daily Supply Chain activities including distribution planning, stock rebalancing, and sell-through optimization.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
  • Coordinate and communicate with planning and logistics teams to secure additional inventory when demand exceeds the forecast.
  • Allocate merchandise to stores and E-Commerce according to launch plans, warehouse, and store inventory levels.
  • Coordinate merchandise transfers to fulfill stock needs, refresh assortments, and support events such as caravans and trunk shows.
  • Develop dashboards using Power BI and Microsoft tools.
  • Propose continuous improvements in the supply chain process to optimize service levels.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Logistics, Retail, and E-commerce teams to address distribution challenges and share alerts on opportunities and challenges.
  • Support store opening and closing plans.
Requirements
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday, 9-6pm.
  • Bachelor’s degree or previous internship experience in a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Passion for Fendi and the Luxury Industry.
  • Strong interest in product.
  • Ability to build good relationships.
  • Attention to detail.
