Summary
Internship within the Human Resources Internal Communications team based in New York City supporting creation of written and visual content, communications planning, and cross-functional collaboration across Americas. The role offers hands-on experience in internal communications, basic graphic and video editing, and event coordination for up to six months.
Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of internal communications campaigns and newsletters for the Americas intranet.
- Create and edit written communications including updates, employee highlights, and event descriptions.
- Assist with basic graphic design and video editing for invitations, recaps, and communication assets.
- Maintain communication documentation and templates aligned with the internal graphic charter.
- Coordinate with vendors for event logistics and communication needs.
- Partner on employee engagement programs such as Town Hall, Happy Hours, and Lunch Learns.
- Research industry trends and best practices to inform strategy.
- Provide proactive problem solving and contribute creative ideas to communications initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in communications, marketing, human resources, or related field.
- Exceptional writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills (eg Adobe, Canva, Final Cut).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams and work onsite in New York City.
- Willingness to work Full time or Part time for up to six months.
