Internal Controller

Summary

The Internal Controller supports the Internal Control team in conducting quality audits and assessments across boutiques, corporate offices and distribution centers to minimize risk and protect assets. The role performs operational and analytical reviews, prepares detailed audit documentation, monitors control questionnaires and follows up on corrective actions. The position also governs access rights for application systems and contributes to ad hoc projects to improve processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform recurring operational and analytical reviews and follow up with relevant parties.
• Assist during audits of operating processes across boutiques, corporate office and distribution center.
• Prepare complete audit packages and documentation including pre-audit preparation, on-site evaluations, and post-audit follow-up.
• Monitor and assist with internal control questionnaires and prepare reports using existing systems to assess control levels.
• Follow up on previous reviews to ensure recommendations are implemented and govern access rights of application systems.
• Participate in ad hoc projects as defined by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in internal audit or finance and accounting.
• Master's degree in Audit and Finance.
• Understanding of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability with attention to detail and big-picture thinking.
• Diplomatic with strong written and oral communication skills; autonomous, proactive and organized.
