Job Description

Summary

The New Product Integration Intern will support New Product Development by conducting time studies, documenting manufacturing processes, and assisting with implementation and improvement of production processes at the Cumberland RI manufacturing facility. The role involves analyzing production issues, coordinating integration methodologies, and presenting findings to management at the end of the internship.

Responsibilities

  • Create update and maintain clear work instructions reports correspondence and procedure manuals
  • Define manufacturing process issues collect data and draw valid conclusions
  • Analyze production problems and support implementation of effective solutions
  • Support coordination and development of new product integration methodologies
  • Conduct time studies and document manufacturing processes
  • Identify production downtime concerns and evaluate problem situations
  • Present experience and findings to management at the completion of the internship

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor s degree in Engineering Business or related field with emphasis on Project Management
  • Ability to research review analyze and interpret technical documents and blueprints
  • Outstanding communication organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to write concise understandable reports correspondence and procedure manuals
  • Strong customer service orientation for interacting with employees
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel PowerPoint and Word
  • JD Edwards knowledge preferred
