Job Description

Summary

12-month internship within retail merchandising supporting the Sr. Merchandise Manager across Bloor St and Yorkdale stores and the Canadian HQ in Yorkville. The role is project-based and designed for undergraduate students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in luxury retail merchandising and e-commerce processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordination and execution of merchandising strategies
  • Support analysis of sales data and market trends to inform decisions
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Merchandise Manager on inventory management and product placement
  • Assist in preparation of merchandising reports and presentations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions
  • Support e-comm processes including e-visual merchandising and stock analysis
  • Work on a department-specific assignment showcasing learnings

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with an undergraduate degree in business, marketing, fashion merchandising, retail management, or related field
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Passion for the luxury retail industry and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work on-site at store and HQ locations in Toronto
