Introductory Warehouse Associate

Summary

The Introductory Warehouse Associate works in a climate-controlled distribution center performing receiving, unloading, packing, shipping and inventory control tasks. This fast-paced, safety-focused role supports timely and accurate order processing and requires commitment to productivity and teamwork. Shift work is required, and employees may be eligible for milestone bonuses and shift premiums.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds
• Complete receiving and/or shipping documentation and scan/process shipments per inventory control processes
• Rotate through jobs in different areas of the distribution center as needed
• Maintain productivity and accuracy while following safety procedures

Requirements

• Ability to repetitively bend, reach, stand, walk and lift up to 50 lb without difficulty
• Ability to work assigned schedules, including nights and variable shifts
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Reliable attendance, punctuality and commitment to meeting productivity expectations
