Summary
The Inventory and Operations Manager ensures operational standards for visual presentation, inventory control, and back of house organization to enable the sales team to maximize sales and deliver exceptional customer service. This role is detail oriented, results driven, and supports store leadership by managing logistics, processes, and operational staff while stepping in for the Store Manager as needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain luxury visual presentation and ensure store areas meet operational standards.
- Drive sales floor replenishment and merchandise floor sets for optimal presentation.
- Execute opening and closing procedures and manage back of house organization.
- Manage packaging, office supplies, ordering, receiving, and store safety standards.
- Handle petty cash, register cash control, sales media, charge retrievals, and finance directives.
- Oversee receiving, transfers, consolidations, pricing, shipping, returns, and inventory adjustments.
- Prepare and execute physical inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Train and develop operations staff and support new hire onboarding and scheduling.
- Provide sales floor support and partner with management to monitor business trends and improve store efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in operations or inventory management.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and process orientation.
- Ability to lead, teach, and develop staff while communicating expectations clearly.
- Experience with inventory control, receiving procedures, and physical counts.
- Proven ability to multitask, problem solve, and perform in a fast paced retail environment.
- Competence with cash handling, register procedures, and basic finance directives.
- Ability to interpret business data and support merchandising and planning needs.
