Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining item and financial accuracy across the store network by managing stockroom and sales floor organization, completing inventory processes, and ensuring merchandise is correctly checked in and ticketed. This role is analytical and data driven and requires initiative, accountability, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized and tidy stockrooms and sales floor to support customer shopping
• Complete all inventory processes to ensure item and financial accuracy
• Ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
• Assist store team with inventory control initiatives
• Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced retail environment
• Support performance based inventory and loss prevention efforts

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and high level of ownership
• Solid math, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced retail environment and adapt to a flexible schedule
• Reliable and motivated with strong organizational skills
