Inventory Control Specialist - Westfarms

Summary

The Inventory Control Specialist is a data driven and highly analytical retail role focused on maintaining item and financial accuracy across the store network. This role ensures stockrooms and sales floor areas are organized and merchandise is properly checked in and ticketed while supporting inventory control initiatives and customer service needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized stockrooms and sales floor presentation
• Complete all inventory processes and cycle counts accurately
• Ensure merchandise is properly checked in and ticketed
• Assist with inventory control initiatives and loss prevention efforts
• Restock merchandise and support visual merchandising as needed
• Prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
• Perform physical handling and movement of merchandise

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and high level of ownership
• Analytical and data driven approach to inventory accuracy
• Solid math and verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Capable of continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
• Frequent use of hands for manipulation and lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
