Inventory Control Supervisor

Summary

The Inventory Control Supervisor manages store inventory and shipping operations for the Madison flagship boutique, ensuring accurate receiving, ticketing, transfers and returns while supporting cycle counts and bi-annual inventories. This role coordinates with store management and shipping leadership to maintain stock levels and inventory records and supports after sales service processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive packages and merchandise and process into inventory the same business day
• Print and ticket merchandise, returns and price updates
• Generate packing slips and shipping transfers and process RTVs accurately
• Organize and participate in weekly cycle counts and bi-annual inventories and reconcile discrepancies
• Process and follow up on after sales service and damages
• Maintain neat and accurate inventory records and filing systems
• Order and manage stock levels of shipping selling and store supplies
• Work with management to analyze business and replenish needs

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in operations or back of house supervisory capacity
• Experience in a luxury retail environment preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze information and problem solve while multitasking with accuracy
• Attention to detail and adherence to policies and directives
• Focus on asset protection and inventory control
• Comfortable using internal systems and external shipping software
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance
