Inventory Planner, Furniture

Summary

The Inventory Planner manages assortment and inventory plans to achieve sales and margin goals for assigned departments. This role develops forecasts, guides inventory investments, and identifies opportunities and risks across collections and products.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical performance and current trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop department, collection, and SKU-level sales plans, forecasts, and inventory strategies.
• Manage open-to-buy activities, inventory investments, and on-order flow in collaboration with vendors.
• Partner with Merchandising and present plans and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Mentor team members and support onboarding and company initiatives.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience, preferably in inventory management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and retail math skills.
• Advanced Excel knowledge and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Multi-channel planning experience is a plus.
