Investigator - Asset Protection Operations Center

As an Investigator at the Asset Protection Operations Center, you will play a crucial role in monitoring Nordstrom's alarm systems and supporting overnight business operations. You will provide essential Asset Protection support to corporate employees, ensuring the safety and security of the premises from the remote AP Operations Center.

• Monitor computer terminals for third-party access, security, intrusion, and building alarms, maintaining a daily log of events.
• Respond to critical incidents in real-time, including emergencies and incidents posing hazards to lives and property.
• Collect documentation for security incidents, including reviewing CCTV footage and completing written documentation.
• Support access control environments, including security cameras, burglar alarms, and key/core hardware administration.
• Identify opportunities to improve overall safety and address discrepancies with teammates.
• Provide support for security-related concerns and requests across all Nordstrom properties.

• Background in security systems with 2 years of service-based security operations experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and cross-divisionally.
• Innovative thinking and sound judgment in problem-solving.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Access Control Systems.
• Ability to maintain a calm presence in challenging situations.
