Summary
Lead end-to-end integrated IT audit engagements across diverse technology environments and SDLC methodologies, delivering risk-based assurance, advisory services, and data-driven insights to support internal controls and business objectives. This hybrid role requires onsite presence in Seattle most weekdays and involves evaluating IT general controls, system implementations, and producing executive-ready deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Lead IT audit engagements of varying scope and complexity across on-premise cloud and hybrid environments
- Assess system implementations across waterfall Agile and DevOps methodologies from inception through post-implementation
- Perform walkthroughs assess control design and test operating effectiveness for ITGCs and automated controls
- Apply risk-based methodologies to identify control gaps and recommend practical remediation solutions
- Produce clear executive-ready reports and actionable insights using data analytics
- Stay current on modern technologies industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain subject matter expertise
- Build trusted relationships with business and technology partners and serve as a credible advisor on risk matters
- Train and coach junior auditors to support their development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance Information Systems Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- One or more professional certifications strongly preferred such as CISA CIA CISSP CISM PMP or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in IT audit IT risk management IT compliance or related advisory services
- Proven expertise auditing or managing IT system implementations using multiple methodologies
- Knowledge of COBIT ISO ITIL NIST and COSO frameworks
- Familiarity with data analytics to provide value-added insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- High level of ownership accountability and commitment to customer service
