Jeweler Level 3

Summary

Jeweler Level 3 produces precious jewelry of advanced complexity to meet quality and production standards. Works at an on-site bench using hand tools, laser welding, soldering, casting, and assembly techniques while supporting continuous improvement and 6S housekeeping. Trains and mentors other jewelers and assists with tooling and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and report incidents promptly
• Produce and assemble complex jewelry components using laser weld, laser shine, hand soldering, and casting
• Assemble functional jewelry including springs, levers, hinges, and box clasps
• Create tools and fixtures required for production and assist with process improvements
• Train other jewelers on techniques and processes and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years experience as a jeweler
• Proficient with hand tools (files, foredom, jeweler saw) and hand soldering with a torch
• Experience operating a laser weld machine and casting complex components
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem solving skills
• Able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with overtime and weekend availability
• Adherence to safety procedures and ability to communicate and understand English
• Preferred: high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills
