Knitwear Intern

Summary

Internship supporting the Design and Product Development teams on seasonal knitwear collections. The role provides hands-on, educational experience creating boards, colorways, and technical materials while shadowing design and development processes. You will participate in fittings, prep for shows, and assist with factory communications and artwork approvals.

Responsibilities

• Create collection boards and update seasonal line sheets.
• Prepare knitwear fabric cards and colorups of illustrations using Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate.
• Assist with artwork layouts for intarsia, stripes, crochet, and jacquards.
• Support design and product development with techpacks and daily factory communications.
• Participate in design and concept development, fittings, and pre-show styling; assist backstage when applicable.

Requirements

• Basic skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate.
• Knowledge of knitwear and garment construction, with a good sense of color and presentation.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be currently enrolled in school.
