Job Description

Summary

Lead the accounting function for the Dennis and Leen Formations business, providing leadership to the accounting team and partnering with the COO to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and actionable financial insights to support strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the accounting team, ensuring accurate day-to-day operations
  • Prepare payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
  • Translate financial data into clear insights to support senior leadership decision making
  • Partner with accounting, finance, and people teams for compliance and reporting integrity
  • Strengthen and maintain internal and system controls and resolve discrepancies
  • Manage updates within enterprise systems for product, pricing, and merchant data accuracy
  • Streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce friction
  • Collaborate cross functionally on system enhancements and implementations

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with managerial accounting and team leadership
  • Experience in design, retail, or manufacturing environments preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles internal controls and payroll administration
  • Ability to synthesize financial data into insights for senior leadership
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross functional partnership
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Google Suite and ERP systems
