Summary
Leads construction efforts for gallery development projects, coordinating teams and resolving issues to deliver projects on schedule and within budget. Oversees preconstruction, construction, inspections, and closeout while maintaining quality, safety, and design standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate construction activities, teams, materials, equipment, schedules, and project meetings.
- Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and design teams to establish scopes, schedules, budgets, bid processes, and site logistics.
- Monitor project quality, specifications, sanitary design, safety practices, and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure tools and working conditions are maintained appropriately.
- Organize final and health inspections, develop and complete punch lists, follow up on warranty items, and assist with project closeout documentation.
- Communicate project progress and unavoidable delays to stakeholders, and lead or contribute to project meetings.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of construction experience, including food and beverage construction management.
- Knowledge of construction processes, restaurant openings, health inspections, and coffee and espresso systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, communication, teamwork, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and travel as needed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
