Leader Tax

As a Leader in Tax at RH, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Tax Leader with sales and use tax compliance processes, audits, and other indirect taxes. You will oversee the preparation and review of tax returns and reports, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax statutes and regulations.

• Oversee the preparation and review of sales and use tax returns and related reports.
• Organize and manage tax compliance information requests for third-party providers.
• Review tax returns and manage estimated tax payments and return filings.
• Perform tax research and prepare monthly reconciliations.
• Keep abreast of changing tax laws and support tax planning strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Finance, Legal, and Treasury.
• Manage monthly process for over 300 sales and use tax returns prepared by a third provider.
• Provide hands-on support for multiple tax audits and engage with the team on audit strategy.
• Evaluate and implement sales and use tax planning opportunities.
• Identify and implement technology solutions to automate sales tax processes.

• Minimum 5 years of tax experience with public accounting or comparable industry experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
• Ability to plan, organize, and complete work with minimal supervision.
