Licensed Optician - Bravern

Summary

The Licensed Optician supports the luxury retail store by delivering exceptional customer service, building and maintaining a strong client following, and ensuring optical quality and fit. The role guides customers in selecting frames and lenses, performs precise measurements and adjustments, and helps maintain store presentation and inventory standards. The Optician also supports store operations by training staff and assisting with events.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of sales and customer service to meet and exceed targets
• Develop and maintain strong relationships and a loyal client following
• Guide customers in selecting frames and lenses suited to their prescription, lifestyle, wardrobe and budget
• Take and record accurate measurements, adjust and fit eyewear, and ensure finished eyewear meets quality standards
• Maintain sales floor and back office presentation and inventory controls
• Train and mentor managers and associates and support store events and policies

Requirements

• High school diploma
• State licensure or certification as an optician
• 2+ years sales experience in the luxury service industry
• Knowledge of optical theory and practices and strong fitting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and polished appearance
• Computer skills and flexibility to work evenings and weekends
