Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on frames and lenses based on lifestyle, prescription and budget needs.
- Take and record measurements and perform adjustments to ensure flawless fit and accuracy.
- Ensure finished eyewear meets luxury retail quality standards.
- Build and maintain a strong client following through relationship development.
- Support Store Manager with optical quality controls and store operations.
- Maintain sales floor and back office presentation and inventory controls.
- Stay current on product knowledge and fashion trends to drive sales.
- Train and mentor managers and associates and support event setup and execution.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- State licensure or certification as an optician by a nationally recognized association.
- Minimum 2 years sales experience in the luxury service industry.
- Knowledge of current optical theory and practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Polished appearance and client service orientation.
- Computer skills and resourceful, result driven approach.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
