Licensed Optician

As a Licensed Optician at Oliver Peoples in Greenwich, you will play a crucial role in leading our luxury retail store to success by building and maintaining a strong client following. You will consistently deliver an exceptional experience to exceed service and sales expectations, supporting the Store Manager in ensuring compliance with all optical quality controls.

• Maintain high standards of sales and service.
• Meet and exceed client service and sales standards by delivering an exceptional experience.
• Develop strong relationships with customers to build and maintain a strong client following.
• Guide customers in selecting frames and lenses suited for their lifestyle, wardrobe, RX, and price needs.
• Ensure flawless accuracy in taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear.
• Stay current on product knowledge and fashion trends to drive sales.
• Maintain presentation standards on the sales floor and back office.
• Understand and support all Luxury Retail policies and procedures.
• Train and mentor Managers and Associates.
• Support set-up and execution of all events.

• High School Diploma.
• State licensure or certification by a nationally-recognized opticianary association as an optician.
• 2+ years sales experience in the luxury service industry.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and practices.
• Ability to build a client following.
• Polished appearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.
