Licensed Optician

As a Licensed Optician, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality eyewear at LensCrafters. You will help establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community by crafting eyewear that exceeds customer expectations.

• Welcome all customers and set expectations with them.
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
• Act as a leader in optical acumen and assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
• Use technology accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and customer volume.
• Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies.
• Maintain store appearance and inform management of safety opportunities.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills, including communication and listening.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and fashion trends.
• Strong basic math skills and familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
• Ability to embrace new technology and change.
• Previous customer service and retail experience preferred.
