Summary
Licensed Optician responsible for delivering exceptional luxury retail service and building a strong client following. Supports the Store Manager to ensure optical quality controls and presentation standards are met while guiding customers on frames and lenses suited to their needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high standards of sales and customer service to exceed targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to build a following.
- Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses based on lifestyle, prescription and price.
- Take and record measurements with flawless accuracy and fit eyewear.
- Ensure finished eyewear meets luxury retail standards of accuracy.
- Maintain product knowledge and stay current on fashion trends to drive sales.
- Uphold presentation standards on the sales floor and in the back office.
- Maintain inventory controls and support store events and setup.
- Train and mentor managers and associates as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- State licensure or certification as an optician from a recognized association.
- Minimum 2 years sales experience in the luxury service industry.
- Knowledge of current optical theory and practices and strong technical skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain a client following.
- Polished appearance with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a resourceful, results driven approach.
- Computer skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
