Responsibilities

• Provide expert optical services including frame styling, lens consultations, precise measurements, and tailored fittings
• Deliver an elevated, personalized client experience that reflects our luxury ethos
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with a discerning clientele
• Interpret and verify prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with New York State regulations
• Troubleshoot and adjust eyewear to ensure optimal fit and comfort
• Drive sales performance while upholding the highest standards of service
• Stay current on frame collections, lens technologies, and industry trends
• Collaborate with the boutique team to maintain visual merchandising standards and efficient inventory management

Requirements

• Valid New York State Optician License
• Minimum 2–3 years of optical dispensing experience, preferably within a luxury or fashion-focused environment
• Strong knowledge of lens types, coatings, and progressive technologies
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a polished professional presence
• Sophisticated presentation and the ability to engage a high-end clientele
• Genuine passion for eyewear design and fashion
• Flexibility to work weekends and varied hours as required
