Job Description

Summary

The Licensing Associate for Apparel, Footwear, and Accessories at Ralph Lauren is a vital support role within the Global Licensing Division. This position involves coordinating daily activities, supporting design development, and interacting with internal and external stakeholders. The role reports directly to the Licensing Lead.

Responsibilities
  • Support design development by scheduling milestone meetings and facilitating cross-functional meetings.
  • Maintain the Master Licensing Product Development Calendar and ensure timely resolution of open issues.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and consolidate buys post-market for RL DTC channels.
  • Monitor market and competition, maintain pricing comparison charts, and oversee digital and in-store presence of licensed products.
  • Own reporting and analytics, including scheduling business reviews and distributing sales reports.
  • Define and implement a distribution review process and maintain the licensee distribution database.
  • Manage communication for cross-category projects and initiatives, supporting special and sports projects.
  • Assist with presentations for internal and external meetings.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in licensing, merchandising, buying/planning, or sales preferred.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking with problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in merchandising skills and MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to navigate a complex, multicultural, and diverse business environment.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized and a team player with a willingness to learn.
