SummaryAs a Logistics Manager at Louis Vuitton Americas, you will optimize and oversee the efficient flow of goods from our Distribution Centers to points of sale and clients. This role involves close collaboration with third-party vendors to ensure seamless transportation processes and proactively address and resolve any transportation-related issues for our stores and digital teams.
Responsibilities- Manage store/digital teams relationships by providing relevant and reliable information such as delivery lead time and order follow-up.
- Provide immediate support regarding shipments via email and phone.
- Relay requests to appropriate departments like Distribution Center, Sales Admin, and Supply Chain.
- Manage daily and weekly performance of transportation vendors and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee small parcels activity continuity, proper traceability, and reporting.
- Deploy short-term and day-to-day activities to ensure efficient response to logistics strategy.
- Coordinate with the Distribution Center and vendors to ensure end-to-end monitoring.
- Answer discrepancy reports and work with the warehouse on any missing parcels or parcel issues.
- Work in partnership with vendors to define action plans to improve processes, methods, and tools.
- Work with logistics and finance departments to simplify invoicing payments, cost savings, and reconciliation processes.
- Liaise with IS&T and Distribution Centers to ensure all needed reports are triggered properly and propose improvements.
- Encourage the implementation of environmentally conscious alternatives when appropriate.
- Propose transportation strategy when applicable and provide analysis to reduce costs or improve service levels.
Requirements- 5+ years of experience in Logistics, Transportation Management, or Supply Chain operations, preferably within the retail or luxury goods industry.
- Elevated and sophisticated communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated experience in managing small parcel vendors.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with Power Query and Power BI is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
- Fluency in French is a plus.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven with a strong commitment to service excellence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
