Summary
Responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, and supporting store operations to ensure efficient inventory flow and excellent customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise for delivery to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders timely following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders meeting packing and shipping standards
- Use inventory management systems to scan and process shipments and research inventory issues
- Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide general store support including event setup, markdowns, and relocating fixtures
- Assist with organizing backroom and inventory control activities
Requirements
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use a variety of technology and computer applications
- Flexible schedule availability based on business needs
- Ability to continuously move for 6 to 8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
- Capability to lift frequently up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
