Summary

Independent and motivated logistics processor responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments and fulfilling customer orders while maintaining inventory accuracy and store presentation. Role requires physical stamina, attention to detail and ability to use inventory systems and new technology. Works a flexible schedule based on business needs and supports store operations including events and fixture relocations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise for distribution to selling areas
• Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
• Fulfill and prepare customer orders following packing and shipping standards
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan and process merchandise shipments
• Research and resolve discrepancies in inventory and shipments
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Support store operations such as special events setup and markdowns
• Relocate and organize store fixtures and backroom as needed

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using a variety of technology and computer applications
• Flexible availability to meet business needs
• Capable of continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift with frequent bending and reaching
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
