Summary
Responsible for receiving, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, and maintaining inventory accuracy and organized stock areas while supporting store operations and events.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight and unpack merchandise for selling departments
- Deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders meeting packing and shipping standards
- Use inventory management systems to scan and process merchandise shipments
- Research discrepancies in shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
- Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Support store needs such as special event setup, markdowns, and fixture relocation
Requirements
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability and initiative
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with technology and new computer applications
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
