Summary
Join the store team as a Logistics Specialist responsible for order fulfillment, receiving, inventory control and backroom organization to support timely merchandise flow and excellent client experience. This role collaborates with operations leadership and supports day to day logistics tasks, training, and occasional client service duties on the sales floor.
Responsibilities
- Review and prioritize order queue to meet fulfillment targets and reduce cancellations
- Complete order picking, packaging and BOPIS operations to established standards and deadlines
- Receive incoming merchandise including hanging goods and reconcile shipments with documentation
- Monitor RTVs, MTM refusals, rebalance and recall requests and in transit documentation
- Coordinate merchandise preparations for timely placement on the sales floor and assist with markdowns and reticketing
- Maintain organized backroom, shipping and receiving area and ensure proper storage of supplies and merchandise
- Support seasonal inventory counts, monitor inventory levels and document write off merchandise
- Assist with training logistics and operations associates and support ad hoc operational projects
- Adhere to POS accuracy, packaging and logistics audit standards and loss prevention practices
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of retail experience in a logistics role, preferably in a luxury environment
- At least 2 years experience in shipping, receiving, order fulfillment and inventory management in retail
- Proven attention to detail processing incoming and outgoing merchandise
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and perform physical tasks including bending and kneeling
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Accountability for accurate receiving, scanning and tagging of merchandise
- Experience maintaining stock levels and supporting sales floor merchandising
