Loss Prevention Professional

Summary

The Loss Prevention Professional maintains a safe and secure environment for clients and employees while supporting store operations and customer service. This role serves as an ambassador and first point of contact, combining security responsibilities with back-of-house controls to help deliver a positive in-store experience. The position supports sales through operational tasks and by partnering with management on incident response and prevention.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment, deter theft, and respond to emergency and incident situations.
• Act as a client-facing ambassador, delivering exceptional service and elevating the in-store experience.
• Perform security system checks, alarm tests, inspections, and key access controls.
• Support store operations including opening and closing procedures and back-of-house tasks.
• Partner with senior security and management to report missing assets and implement incident management procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Security License.
• High school diploma.
• Customer service experience and basic computer skills.
• Availability to work retail hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Authorization to work in Canada.
• Preferred: one year prior experience in a security or retail security role.
