Summary
The Loss Prevention Supervisor leads and develops the store security team to protect employees, clients, and assets while supporting an elevated luxury client experience. Working with Security Management and Operations, the supervisor optimizes security coverage, manages physical security systems, and serves as the location security subject matter expert.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the security team to maintain Global Protection Standards and improve security culture.
- Optimize schedules to maximize coverage during peak hours, events, overnight, and facilities needs.
- Partner with Operations and Security Management to identify and reduce shrink.
- Support emergency preparedness and serve as point person during incidents.
- Ensure physical security systems such as CCTV, alarms, radios, locks, and doors are functioning and maintained.
- Initiate and follow up on repairs and conduct vulnerability evaluations as directed.
- Coach team to deliver a customer focused luxury security experience.
- Project professional and calm demeanor when interacting with clients and employees.
- Support store initiatives and cross functional efforts to enhance client experience.
Requirements
- Valid Security License.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to work retail store hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
- Strong computer skills.
- Demonstrated integrity and sense of urgency to identify problems and act appropriately.
- Ability to work with geographically remote individuals and foster cooperation.
- One - two years prior experience in a security related position with emphasis on customer service.
- Authorization to work in Canada.
