Summary
The Maintenance Leader, Bespoke oversees installation, maintenance and repair of production and mechanical equipment supporting manufacturing operations. This supervisory role directs maintenance technicians and related shop personnel, manages preventive and predictive maintenance programs, supports major repairs and overhauls, and ensures maintenance work meets quality safety and budgetary standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare maintenance schedules and monitor preventive maintenance compliance
- Inspect facilities to detect problems and recommend repairs
- Supervise and coach maintenance technicians and shop personnel
- Generate work orders, assign jobs, and ensure timely completion
- Manage materials and spare parts inventory using maintenance system
- Develop maintenance procedures and proactive maintenance programs
- Recommend upgrades, overhauls, and budget items and manage spending
- Coordinate with vendors contractors and outsourced service providers
- Audit premises for safety compliance and ensure regulatory adherence
Requirements
- Supervisory experience in maintenance areas with 5+ years in equipment and facilities maintenance
- Strong time management prioritization and project management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Technical understanding of manufacturing practices equipment specifications and troubleshooting
- Analytical skills to gather data diagnose issues and implement preventive changes
- Ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills and vendor management experience
- Comfort working in a fast paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects
