SummaryAs a Maintenance Technician in Manufacturing, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all facility equipment. This role involves general facility maintenance and construction to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment as per schedule.
- Troubleshoot and repair maintenance equipment to maintain manufacturing schedules.
- Complete general facility maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or PLC as needed.
- Disassemble, clean, and repair equipment both mechanically and electrically.
- Perform minor electronic repair, calibration, and alignment to equipment.
- Enter and analyze all maintenance data.
- Track preventative maintenance, orders, and other equipment/tool activities in Megamations.
- Assist the maintenance team leader in training manufacturing and maintenance associates.
- Aid the total quality facilitator in implementing process improvements.
- Ensure reliability in attendance and punctuality, including breaks and lunch periods.
- Support, follow, and monitor all safety requirements and provide immediate feedback where necessary.
- Maintain adherence to company policies.
- Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed.
Requirements- High school diploma or GED and one year related experience.
- Experience in highly automated manufacturing, lean manufacturing/continuous flow operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues using electrical schematics, multimeters, equipment manuals.
- Ability to resolve issues by working remotely with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
- Basic PC knowledge and math skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and standards including Lock-Out/Tag-Out.
- Physical ability to lift 50-100 lbs., continuous walking or standing, frequent lifting from waist, shoulder, and overhead.
- Preferred: Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, 3+ years related experience.
