Responsibilities- Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to store operations.
- Operate and monitor building controls and systems.
- Conduct equipment and building rounds, identifying and reporting malfunctions.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as loading and moving materials.
- Assist with administrative tasks including parts ordering and vendor management.
- Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures.
- Act as a representative of the facilities team in meetings and document outcomes.
- Complete and document preventative maintenance routines.
- Assist in training new employees on equipment and systems.
- Respond to location emergencies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records in the computerized maintenance management system.
- Coordinate work with outside contractors and vendors.
Requirements- High School Diploma/GED; vocational or higher degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of hands-on facilities experience with mechanical maintenance.
- Experience in predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated with a focus on safety and customer service.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Knowledge of computer networking systems and infrastructure.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting heavy loads.
