Maintenance Technician I

Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Technician I helps maintain a safe, well-maintained environment across multiple stores. Under close supervision, this role performs preventive maintenance, assists with repairs, and supports building system operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, building inspections, and assigned service requests.
• Assist with troubleshooting and basic repairs to building systems, equipment, lighting, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and respond promptly to customer needs and emergencies.
• Follow safety procedures and applicable codes while completing maintenance and manual labor tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience or training.
• Basic knowledge of trade skills and mechanical systems, with entry-level power tool proficiency and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions, communicate effectively, and use a computer and basic Microsoft Office programs.
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and off-hours; able to lift 50 pounds or more and perform physical tasks.
