Maintenance Technician III - Material Handling & Conveyors

Summary

The Maintenance Technician III supports preventative maintenance and repairs for building and material handling systems. This role helps manage maintenance projects and trains and mentors service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair conveyors, material handling systems, and related electrical and control equipment.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures, and create and close out work orders.
• Develop emergency repair plans and communicate equipment status to operations leaders and maintenance teams.
• Promote workplace safety and mentor technicians through guidance and training.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with conveyors, electrical systems, and building maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge of material handling equipment and power, pneumatic, or hydraulic tools.
• Basic knowledge of control systems and PLCs; robotics knowledge is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to use relevant technology.
• Ability to move up to 49 pounds and stand and walk during shifts of up to 12 hours.
• An associate degree or higher in a mechanical or electrical field is preferred.
