SummaryAs a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all facility equipment, ensuring smooth operations within the manufacturing environment. You will play a crucial role in general facility maintenance and construction, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the workplace.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment as per schedule.
- Troubleshoot and repair maintenance equipment to support manufacturing schedules.
- Complete general facility maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or PLC as needed.
- Disassemble, clean, and repair equipment both mechanically and electrically.
- Conduct minor electronic repair, calibration, and alignment of equipment.
- Enter and analyze maintenance data, track preventative maintenance, orders, and equipment/tool activities.
- Assist the maintenance team leader in training manufacturing and maintenance associates.
- Support process improvements and adhere to safety requirements.
- Maintain adherence to company policies and assume additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements- High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience.
- Experience in highly automated manufacturing and lean manufacturing/continuous flow operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues using electrical schematics, multimeters, and equipment manuals.
- Capability to resolve issues remotely with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
- Basic PC knowledge and math skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and standards including Lock-Out/Tag-Out.
- Physical ability to lift 50-100 lbs., continuous walking or standing, and frequent lifting from waist, shoulder, and overhead.
- Preferred: Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent experience and 3+ years of related experience.
