Managed File Transfer Engineer

As a Managed File Transfer Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure file transfer workflows using the OpenText Managed File Transfer platform. This hybrid role requires working onsite at Nordstrom's corporate headquarters in Seattle, WA for a minimum of 3 days per week, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange.

• Collaborate with business users and vendors to gather requirements for file transfer workflows.
• Design and implement file transfer workflows using the OpenText Managed File Transfer platform.
• Act as the primary support engineer for the platform, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and monitoring to ensure reliability.
• Configure and maintain secure file transfer protocols and enforce encryption standards.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate technical requirements and solutions effectively to business users, vendors, and internal teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with OpenText Managed File Transfer or similar platforms.
• Solid knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of SFTP protocols, encryption standards, and secure data transfer methodologies.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls for secure connectivity.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
