Responsibilities

• Coach and develop employees to deliver outstanding customer service and proper fit
• Identify recruit and hire skilled alterations and tailoring staff
• Ensure alterations and tailoring work meets company quality and service guidelines
• Organize department workload to meet promised completion dates
• Train employees on shop procedures safe equipment use and quality standards
• Manage office and labor expenses for the alterations shop
• Maintain professional communication with customers and co workers

Requirements

• Previous experience in alterations and tailoring
• Knowledge of safe and proper use of alterations equipment
• Strong communication skills with customers and team members
• High level of ownership accountability and initiative
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store needs
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
