Job Description

Summary

As the Alterations Manager, you will provide leadership and support to the Alterations Associates, ensuring outstanding service and meeting client demands. You will work under the direction of the Assistant General Manager of Operations to drive store and company initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and build structural processes.
  • Drive positive outcomes through objectives and measuring progress.
  • Create a professional work environment by exemplifying company standards.
  • Foster teamwork between the selling organization and the Alterations department.
  • Maintain high customer service levels by recruiting and developing quality Alterations Associates.
  • Deliver ongoing education and performance feedback to associates.
  • Handle ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of management experience with comparable volume.
  • Fitting/tailoring experience in high-end or luxury merchandise setting preferred.
  • Ability to perform alterations on a wide range of garments.
  • Knowledge of the Alterations industry, including luxury merchandise fabrication and styling.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and other available technology.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
