Manager - Asset Protect - Washington Square

The Manager of Asset Protection at Washington Square is responsible for leading and supervising Asset Protection teams within the store. This role involves executing the company's shrinkage reduction strategy, ensuring the safety and security of employees, and enhancing company profitability. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional store leaders to support the retail asset protection business.

• Lead by example and execute the organizational strategy set by the AP Division.
• Develop strong relationships within the store, including Store Manager, Service Experience, Inventory Accuracy, and Human Resources.
• Act as the owner of building security and safety, educating the store on emergency preparedness topics.
• Monitor and communicate all reports to ensure AP incidents and cases are reported and documented properly.
• Leverage data to identify trends and mitigate internal and external theft.
• Lead execution of company shrink program and directives, including shrink reduction plans.
• Hire and develop talent to support investigations, auditing, shortage reduction programs, and AP awareness programs.
• Use reporting to identify risks and mitigate issues that reduce loss and maximize profitability.

• Proven success in investigative, asset protection, and security procedures.
• Prior AP leadership experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of Exception Based Reporting tools and Case Management Software.
• Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with employees and leaders.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in high-stress situations.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer proficiency, including use of monitoring and surveillance technologies.
