Manager, Asset Protection

Summary

The Asset Protection Manager leads asset protection efforts and shortage reduction at the assigned store. The role partners with store and corporate teams to protect inventory, maintain a safe environment, and ensure compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute store-specific asset protection plans and shortage reduction strategies.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and develop asset protection associates.
• Audit operational and merchandise security standards, identify risks, and drive corrective actions.
• Manage internal investigations and external case matters, and coordinate with law enforcement, mall management, retailers, and legal counsel.
• Promote emergency preparedness, workplace safety, theft and fraud mitigation, and compliance with asset protection policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of physical security systems, including alarms, EAS, CCTV, and locks and keys.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and follow-up skills, with the ability to work across all levels of management.
• Ability to make sound business decisions, adapt to changing priorities, and meet the physical requirements of the role.
