Job Description

Summary

The Asset Protection Manager leads the store's asset protection team and executes strategies to reduce shrinkage. This role supports employee safety, theft prevention, investigations, and store profitability while partnering with cross-functional leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, develop, and oversee asset protection team performance and budgeting.
  • Execute shrink reduction plans, investigate theft and dishonesty, and use data to identify risks and trends.
  • Lead building security and safety, including emergency preparedness and response to employee safety incidents.
  • Ensure incidents and cases are properly reported and documented.
  • Partner with store leaders and teams on asset protection priorities and company directives.

Requirements

  • Proven investigative, asset protection, and security experience, including prior asset protection leadership.
  • Understanding of exception-based reporting tools and case management software.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, problem-solving, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and monitoring and surveillance technologies.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work a flexible schedule based on store needs.
