Manager - Asset Protection

The Manager of Asset Protection is responsible for supervising Asset Protection teams within the store, focusing on recruiting, development, performance oversight, and budgeting. This role involves executing the company's shrinkage reduction strategy and ensuring the safety and security of employees, theft prevention, and enhancing company profitability. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional store leaders to support the retail asset protection business.

• Lead by example and execute the organizational strategy set by the AP Division.
• Develop strong relationships within the store, including Store Manager, Service Experience, Inventory Accuracy, and Human Resources.
• Act as the owner of building security and safety, educating the store on emergency preparedness topics.
• Monitor and communicate all reports to ensure proper documentation of AP incidents and cases.
• Leverage data to identify trends and mitigate internal and external theft.
• Lead execution of company shrink program and directives.
• Hire and develop talent to support investigations, auditing, and AP awareness programs.
• Use reporting to identify risks and mitigate issues to reduce loss and maximize profitability.

• Proven success in investigative, asset protection, and security procedures.
• Comprehensive understanding of Exception Based Reporting tools and Case Management Software.
• Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with employees and leaders.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in high-stress situations.
