Summary

The Asset Protection Manager leads asset protection teams and executes strategies to reduce shrink at the distribution center. This role supports employee safety and security, theft prevention, company profitability, and alignment with business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the asset protection team, including recruiting, performance oversight, and budgeting.
• Execute shrink reduction programs and directives, and use data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to mitigate theft.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders on shrink-related matters, building security, safety, and emergency preparedness.
• Ensure asset protection incidents and cases are reported and documented properly.
• Support investigations, auditing, shortage reduction, and asset protection awareness programs.

Requirements

• Prior asset protection leadership experience and success with investigative and security procedures.
• Understanding of exception-based reporting tools and case management software.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, lead and develop talent, and work a flexible schedule.
• Computer proficiency, including monitoring and surveillance technologies.
