Responsibilities- Hire, train, and retain a high-performing team that collaborates effectively across various departments.
- Maintain regular communication with Asset Protection and cross-functional leaders to align with business needs.
- Partner with the Enterprise Business Resilience Team to integrate the Operations Center into crisis management frameworks.
- Define roles and responsibilities for Operations Center personnel and establish best practices for security incident investigations.
- Respond to overnight emergencies and coordinate with emergency responders as needed.
- Oversee access control systems and coordinate repairs and upgrades to security hardware and software.
- Conduct regular audits to identify security risks and recommend improvements.
- Develop key performance indicators and reporting tools to measure the Operations Center’s performance.
- Manage budgetary responsibilities for staffing, tools, and operational expenses.
- Leverage data and incident trends to provide informed recommendations to senior decision-makers.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and/or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of experience in service-based security operations.
- 5+ years of experience in security leadership roles.
- Technical background in security systems and expert knowledge of physical security principles.
- Experience managing or operating within a 24/7 Security Operations Center environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access Control Systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and planning skills.
- Experience developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and emergency response playbooks.
- Familiarity with emergency management frameworks and mass communication platforms.
- Proficient in leveraging data platforms to drive performance metrics and operational insights.
- Experience managing external vendors and service-level agreements for security technologies.
- Knowledge of retail loss prevention strategies.
- Industry certifications such as CPP, PSP, CEM, or equivalent are preferred.
