Summary
The Manager of Asset Protection supervises store AP teams including recruiting, development, performance oversight and budgeting. This role executes shrinkage reduction strategy, oversees safety and security, leads theft prevention efforts and partners with cross functional store leaders to support retail asset protection.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop Asset Protection team members including hiring and performance management
- Execute company shrink program and shrink reduction plans
- Lead investigations into internal and external theft and manage case documentation
- Act as owner of building security and emergency preparedness
- Leverage data and reporting to identify trends and mitigate loss
- Collaborate with store leaders in Inventory Accuracy Service Experience and Human Resources
- Manage monitoring surveillance technologies and reporting of AP incidents
Requirements
- Proven success in investigative asset protection and prior AP leadership experience
- Knowledge of Exception Based Reporting tools and Case Management Software
- Strong decision making problem solving and written communication skills
- Ability to develop productive relationships with employees and leaders
- Strong organizational delegation and follow through skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work a flexible schedule
- Computer proficiency including monitoring and surveillance technologies
